Election results for the Insurance Councils Appeal Board
The Alberta Insurance Council (AIC) is pleased to announce four new appointees to the Insurance Councils Appeal Board (ICAB).
Elected by their peers, the new members play a vital role in representing their industry and fellow license holders in insurance regulation and helping protect Alberta consumers.
The election commenced on August 21 and concluded on September 21, 2026.
2026 ICAB election-General insurance agent candidates:
Ashley Ziprick: 22.06%
Duncan Hecht: 11.34%
Gurjeet Kaur: 13.45%
Jessica Purcell: 11.76%
Jill McMaster: 18.70%
Mansher Singh Waraich: 7.14%
Patricia Sawa: 15.55%
Ashley Ziprick, Jill McMaster, Patricia Sawa, and Gurjeet Kaur are the successful candidates with three-year terms from September 29, 2026 to September 28, 2026.
