Election results for the Insurance Councils Appeal Board – November 2026
The Alberta Insurance Council (AIC) is pleased to announce one new appointee to the Insurance Councils Appeal Board (ICAB).
Elected by their peers, the new member plays a vital role in representing their industry and fellow license holders in insurance regulation and helping protect Alberta consumers.
The election commenced on September 25 and concluded on October 26, 2026.
2026 ICAB election-Life insurance agent candidates:
Rohin Galhotra: 19.79%
Fred Stroud: 35.42%
Zsuzanna Nagy: 13.45%
Soroush Ojagh: 11.72%
Danette Bonter: 16.41%
Fred Stroud is the successful candidates with three-year terms from November 3, 2026 to November 2, 2029.
