Notice: Limited Onsite Examination Availability

The Alberta Insurance Council (AIC) and the insurance industry have been deemed essential services during the COVID-19 Pandemic.  Alberta Insurance Council has resumed the scheduling of exam sittings with limited seating capacity due to social distancing and gathering requirements.  Please note: Examination sittings are only being offered at the locations listed below.

If you have medical or other conditions which require special consideration, please inform us by email prior to registration. A signed medical note will be requested. NO exceptions to this requirement will be made at normal examination sittings.

There will be no exams on Thursday, November 11th.

For December, exams will run as scheduled until December 17th.

For the week of December 20th:

  • LLQP exams will run Monday, December 20th – Wednesday, December 22nd
  • General & Adjusters exams will be on Thursday, December 23rd

There will be no exams in December after the 23rd.

HLLQP exams will run Tuesday – Thursday.

IMPORTANT COVID-19 Instructions:

  • Effective Sept 27, 2021, all visitors to campus will have to show proof of vaccination or provide a negative PCR or rapid test taken within 72 hours of being on campus. This must be done using LC Alert (please register as a Guest).
    • You can access LC Alert in one of two ways:
    • If you have any issues at all, step-by-step instructions on everything from downloading and accessing LC Alert, to uploading and submitting information, is available on the Lethbridge College website.
  • Face masks are required in all indoor public spaces on campus, including our testing rooms. However, please note that we will ask to see your face briefly during the check-in process.
  • Please reschedule or cancel your appointment if you are not feeling well. Test takers with visible cold- or flu-like symptoms will not be permitted.
    • If you have seasonal allergies with visible symptoms, additional advance arrangements may be required. Please contact us for more information if this applies to you (403-320-3368).
  • When you arrive on campus, park in Lot O (turn right just before the bus loop, and Lot O is the first left) and follow these steps:
    • To pay for parking, you can download the Honk Mobile app in your app store, or pay online at https://www.honkmobile.com/hourly/zones/5787.
    • Once parked, call Testing Services at 403-320-3368 to let us know you’re here. We will let you know when we are ready for you to enter the building.
    • Enter through the main college entrance when directed, and proceed to Testing Services (AN1602).
  • Photo ID (e.g., Student ID, driver’s license) is required to write your test.
  • The following items are not allowed in the test room (free lockers are available for use):
    • cell phones and other electronics
    • watches
    • jackets
    • hats
    • bags
    • backpacks
    • food and drink (except bottled water)

Once students book exams online with the AIC, they must go to www.keyano.ca/bookexam to book with the Keyano College at least 2 days prior to test date.

Please note that exams in Fort McMurray have additional invigilation fees ($125 per person) which can be made by calling the Office of the Registrar at (780) 792-2688. Please forward the payment confirmation number to testing.services@keyano.ca, with your full name, phone number and the name of the test so the college is able to update their booking with the information.

IMPORTANT COVID-19 Instructions:

Beginning October 4, students coming to Keyano College campuses must provide proof of vaccination with at least their first does of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by Health Canada no later than September 20, 2021 and be fully immunized no later than November 1, 2021. You will need to show proof of vaccination. This also applies to contractors, tenants, patrons, and visitors.
• Fully vaccinated means that it has been 14 days since receiving all required doses of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by Health Canada.
• For all two-dose vaccines, this means you must receive your first dose by no later than September 20, 2021, and your second dose by no later than October 18, 2021.
