2025 AIC Annual Report

The Alberta Insurance Council is pleased to share its 2025 Annual Report.

The Annual Report highlights how the Alberta Insurance Council (AIC) continues to protect Alberta insurance consumers by regulating insurance agents, brokers, and independent adjusters, and by supporting a strong, professional insurance sector across the province. It provides an overview of key activities, outcomes, and performance metrics from 2025.

In 2025, the AIC supported more than 46,000 licensees and issued over 90,000 licenses. 2025 also marked the end of AIC’s 2022 – 2025 Strategic Priorities. Reporting on these priorities helped to align the organizations work with AIC’s vision of being the respected and trusted regulator of the insurance profession in Alberta. As the final year of this strategic plan, 2025 reflects the cumulative impact of these priorities and AIC’s continued commitment to fulfilling its mandate.
