Accreditation
All courses must be accredited by the Alberta Insurance Council to be eligible for Continuing Education hours.
Course accreditation
Effective January 1, 2026, the Alberta Insurance Council (AIC) is authorized to approve individual Continuing Education courses and course providers to deliver Continuing Education to license holders. This accreditation indicates the individual courses and course providers meet the regulatory standards for agents and adjusters’ Continuing Education requirements.
All course accreditation applications must be submitted for approval to the AIC for single course accreditation or to become a self-accredited course provider. All applications have a fee associated; please read the appropriate guidelines for gaining approval.
